Happy new year, everyone! Wow, another year has come and gone. It really does seem like time goes faster as we get older. Riley turned 3 in November - that's 21 in human years - and I still can't quite believe it.
Some of you might've noticed that I was absent all of last year - since halloween 2017, to be exact. Well, 2018 was a tough one for me - a lot happened in both my personal and professional life where I was tested emotionally, mentally and physically, and I spent most of the year hurt, grieving and lost. I just didn't have the time, or heart, to sit down and write. But as the year has come to an end, I've finally made the conscious decision to say f*ck it to 2018, put everything behind me and start fresh. So I'm back, ready to do what I love again and find joy in the little things. Here's to wishing all of you an amazing start to the new year, the strength to face new challenges and the ability to achieve all that you desire. Always remember to be grateful and stay present, 'cos life is just too dang short and there is so much to be thankful for.
